The UG Department of Computer Science was established in the year 1996 with the strength of 25 students. The additional section was started in the year 2014.
The M.Sc Computer Science programme was introduced in the year 2010.
Currently the department has enhanced and established with the strength of 14 faculties and around 420 students. Curriculum is developed by describing the learning goals and outcomes of the academic programmes. This involves showing how the programme of study fits together and how it is designed to help the students to achieve the programme goals. The syllabus is revamped every year and is on par with the current trend in the IT industry. The department has produced quality professionals holding key positions in the IT industry in India and abroad.
