Genesis
- The educational system at MCET has undergone stages (Affiliated/Autonomous/Outcome Based) of evolution in the past decade to adopt Outcome Based Education (accepted globally after the Washington Accord)
- MCET is leveraging the Autonomous status(w.e.f. 2011) to implement Outcome Based Education across all programmes
Mission
- Conceive, Design, Implement and Operate processes in the given academic environment to enable faculty members of the institute display professional commitment with respect to Outcome Based Educational Model Model
Objectives
- Provide support to academic departments to solve OBE related issues
- Analyze the effectiveness of OBE in the academic departments
- Train faculty members on various competencies required for teaching learning in the OBE model
