The Department of computer Science was established in the year 1986.During three decades of educational services, the department has met with multifold achievements. Under Autonomy, the syllabus has been tailored and modified to convene the needs of the rapidly growing IT industry.

Research

The UG Department of Computer Science is upgraded into a Research Department to offer M.Phil and Ph.D programs from July 2009. Both Full Time and Pert Time research programs are offered. The department has to its credit funded research projects from UGC. The department has an exclusive Research Lab to facilities the needs of the M.Phil and Ph.D Computer Science scholars
