Tamil the Classical Language has its own speciality. Studying Tamil literature can make man perfect. Keeping this thought in mind and keen interest in Tamil made our beloved Arutchelvar Mahalingam Ayya to establish Tamil literature in self financing wing . P.G in Tamil literature was started in the year 2002 and U.G in the year 2004. The department has eminent professors with well framed syllabus to mold the students to be a good citizen and to lead life with human values.
